Hi there!  We are so excited you are here! That's how you will feel when you attend a Polka Dot Powerhouse meeting! Excited!  I remember my first meeting and how different it was from so many other networking groups...It felt like home.

I love the beginning of the PDP mission statement.... We connect the world's most positive, action-forward amazing women. That sounds so great, doesn't it?  Well, it is!  But there is so much more!

The women at PDP are uplifters and support each other to grow every day. This is a safe place where you can find a group of friends, grow your business, and collaborate with other businesswomen. But you don't have to have a business. We have lots of Dot Sisters who are just looking for the friendship and support aspect of the group. It's about connection first...and the business comes naturally. There's no competition (we believe in collaboration over competition) or drama here (we are the home of the No Drama Llama)! When you are part of the Dot sisterhood, you are greeted with an enthusiastic smile, a hug, and the feeling that you belong! It's a great place to be.

WHAT TO KNOW IN ADVANCE OF ATTENDING A MEETING:

Arrival: Log in to Zoom 15 minutes early (the Zoom link will be provided the morning of the meeting) Please do not be late; we close admissions at 11:45 am

Dress: It's Zoom, so anything that looks nice on top. We won't know if you are in your PJ Bottoms or not :)

Handouts: You can put your information in the chat because this is a Zoom. We save the chat and send it to the attendees after (if you receive private chat information, you will need to save that.

Introductions: Because we are a connection company first, we will answer a personal question instead of giving our business introduction. The more we know about you personally, the more we want to connect on a deeper level. You can announce your business, new products, and services during that portion of the agenda.

Polka Dot Powerhouse is different from other networking groups. Women join for various reasons or seasons in their lives. Some come for personal relationships, and some for business. We have many overlapping and same-company members. We are also the home of the "No Drama Llama."

Build relationships first! We believe in building connections and relationships first. This way, those looking to do business together will do so organically and naturally because people tend to do business with people they know, like, and trust.

Cancellations: Our meetings are usually registered for a full house with a waiting list. If, for any reason, you cannot attend, we ask that you let Beth know as soon as possible so that we may allow someone from the waitlist to attend.
