Monthly Connect

Lucy Medvec is the current director of membership and development for the American Rose society headquartered in Shreveport, Louisiana. With over 28 years of experience in nonprofit experience, she is passionate about the art of life in our community, having served as a volunteer, donor, or board member for  over 30 nonprofits in Shreveport. She is currently working on her thesis in the Master of lLberal Arts program at LSU-Shreveport and in her spare time loves to, travel, cheer on her cherished UCLA Bruins, and discuss books with her fellow readers. 

In her role with the American Rose society, Lucy works with over 7,000 members and 230 local societies in around the world to, promote the culture, preservation and appreciation of the Rose, and improve its standard of excellence for all people through education and research.
