Topic: Does your office support your business goals? Is your paperwork overtaking your desk and floor space? Do you have trouble finding what you’re looking for when you need it? Are your finances in order? The answers to questions like these describe your current state affairs. Sometimes our personal lives intersect with our professional lives and that’s okay as long as we can find a balance. We are after all more than just what we do for a job, even if we’re passionate about our life’s work.

My approach to organizing is to address the whole person. A plan for improving quality of life can be created by discussing the following seven categories of clutter we all face:

  • Physical
  • Time
  • Health
  • Finances
  • Digital
  • Mental
  • Emotional
  • Social

Some of these areas we are more adept at than others. Unforeseen events in our lives can cause a shift in the areas that we once had mastery.

Seated at your desk in your office, you are in command. You are in charge of:… the things that fill the room, how you spend your time, manage your money, create your thoughts and feelings, arrange your social calendar, sort your digital files, and support your physical health. Shedding light on everyone’s ability to have an organized life is Connie’s driving force.

About our Speaker: Connie Anderson is a Certified Professional Organizer, specializing in Chronic Disorganization. She guides people to a better way of organizing using their own strengths and learning styles. She helps turn the chaos of physical and mental clutter into something manageable and sustainable. Her clients face hoarding and ADD disorders, aging issues, and mental health and physical ailments. As an organizer she plays several roles: coach, body double, business leader, event planner, avid volunteer, speaker and mentor.

Connie sees herself as a matchmaker of stuff and an advocate for the earth. Certified as a Green Business, her practice is to keep as much stuff out of the landfill. Those unwanted items discarded from her client’s homes are averted to e-waste, recycling and non-profit thrift stores and other places where items are given a new home and use. Known for her creative, patient and professional demeanor, Connie’s reputation is steadfast. She is a testament to the high standard of ethics of her industry.

Upon returning from a six-week national park summer road trip, Connie and her family decided to make a life-change. After discovering Lake Coeur d’Alene on Google Maps just two year ago they quickly made the decision to relocate. In no time, Connie intergraded herself into the community by getting involved as a community partner with Habitat for Humanity, a Human Rights Education Institute Board Member, a therapy dog handler for the public library, an active PTA member at her children’s schools, and a member of the Coeur d’ Alene Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2020.

When Connie is not volunteering or providing non-judgmental and confidential support to people with chronic disorganization, she can be found spending time with her husband and two boys. She enjoys camping throughout Idaho’s forests, being the family historian, exploring the farms of the inland northwest, and getting together with friends for lively discussions on current events.
