How to Work With Your Body, Not Against It 12/16 (In Person, Treasure Valley, ID)
SPEAKER TOPIC
I’ll explore the body’s stress response and how it uniquely impacts women — physically, emotionally, and hormonally.
We’ll look at how everyday actions (like skipping meals, over-exercising, or constantly pushing through exhaustion) send powerful signals to the body — messages it interprets as a story about whether we’re safe, nourished, or under threat. And the body responds accordingly… often by holding onto weight, increasing fatigue, or shutting down systems to survive.
I’ll share real-life examples of the most common “stories” women unknowingly tell their bodies — and how those stories shape everything from metabolism to mood to burnout.
Attendees will walk away with practical tools to shift the narrative they’re telling through their habits, mindset, and environment — and simple strategies to begin working with their body instead of against it.
This talk is for any woman who feels like she’s doing “everything right” but still isn’t seeing the results she wants — in her energy, her health, or her wellness journey.
