-Speaker Topic-
Depending on your life experiences, the idea of listening to your emotions may sound like a recipe for disaster. Or maybe you already feel like an emotional mess and the last thing you want to do is think about the whirlwind that’s going on inside of you. While emotions can sometimes feel like they’re steering us wrong, giving yourself space to feel is a healthy expression of self respect (and just might be the key to resolving those worries that keep you up at night). Join us for a time of learning and reflection. You'll leave with fresh insights and practical strategies to start creating healthier space for your emotions. They have important things to tell you.
-Speaker Bio-
In 2018, Emily's life came to a screeching halt. She couldn’t sleep and could barely eat. She experienced crippling anxiety, depression, and imposter syndrome like she never knew was possible. Typically a confident and capable person, Emily found herself questioning everything. Burnout and overwhelm became her constants. However, as a recovering quitter, she was determined to figure out how to heal. Emily is proud to say that she now walks in a peace like she'd never known before, and it all started with giving herself permission to feel.
-Ice Breaker Question-
What is your most commonly and strongly felt emotion?
