Making The Most Of Your Travel Photos 9/15

 

Bio: Carly has been a photographer for more than half of her life! She created Carly Moon Images 12 years ago and is internationally published and award-winning. She loves and practices all kinds of photography, but specializes in making women look and feel incredible with boudoir portraiture. In fact, her photography alter-ego Happy Hour Boudoir was recently awarded “Best of the Treasure Valley”. She was born and raised in Kansas but her ruby red slippers took her east to West Virginia University for college. After graduation, she bounced around a few states on the east coast before her nomadic heart (and let’s be real— the Air Force) sent her, her brand new husband, and her dog to England in 2014. While her business grew and flourished, she went almost a whole year without traveling and realized she was wasting incredible opportunities. In 2016, she made a New Years resolution to travel to a different city or country every month for the whole year. It’s the only resolution she’s ever kept, and she kept it going all the way through February 2020 before the world shut down. After six incredible years overseas, the Air Force sent Carly, her husband Dave, and Koda to Idaho during the pandemic where they instantly felt at home. When she’s not working, she’s usually traveling and still taking photos or she’s taking classes and workshops to further her photography education. She and Dave also love fishing, golfing, going to country concerts, checking out breweries and events all over the Treasure Valley, and re-watching The Office over and over.
