Speaker Bio:
Bretta’s journey from a successful engineer to a thriving entrepreneur started in 1998 when she became a Civil Environmental Engineer in Denver. Faced with potential layoffs, she leaped into entrepreneurship, delving into engineering consulting and establishing an online wellness business. Along the way, Bretta harnessed the power of social media, fueling her passion for marketing, branding, and digital business development. Today, she’s proud to own a flourishing digital marketing business with her business partner Mallory Shields. She also helped bring Lemonade Day to our Kootenai County for the last two years. Lemonade Day is a fun, experiential program that teaches youth how to start, own, and operate their business - a lemonade stand. Each year, in participating cities, youth can experience entrepreneurship.
