BIO:
Born and raised in Germany, Heike received her degree in Early Childhood Education from Germany before moving to the US in 1992 with her American husband and two sons. They’ve lived in Mount Joy, PA, on the home farm ever since and thrive on organic vegetables from the garden and quality time spend with family both in the US and Germany.
Photography has always been a part of Heike's life and developed from a hobby to professional during her years of working in marketing for a small fair trade rug company. During an emotional crisis in her family life, photography became a lifesaver. It taught Heike how to change perspective in life and continues to mold her thinking.
