Beyond The Lone Wolf Mindset: Curating Your Personal Advisory Board

In this presentation, Michelle will share how to create a powerful “advisory board” for your personal and professional life, with roles like The Mentor, The Accountability Buddy, The Connector, and The Contrarian. By the end of this session, you'll have a roadmap for identifying the people who will help you move to the next level of life and business.

No One Achieves Success Alone
- Your capacity for growth and success is directly shaped by the people whose opinions you allow to influence your decisions. Creating an intentional advisory board with diverse perspectives is the key to helping you stay focused, stay aligned with your vision, and stay on track with your goals.

Choose People Who YOU Need to Achieve YOUR Vision
- You’re not working toward the same goals as your neighbor, friend, or colleagues, so your board will look different than theirs. This is a strong reminder to focus on your goals and your vision, and not get distracted by what someone else is doing.

Know When To Evolve
- By identifying your specific gaps, as well as understanding where you already shine in strength and experience, you can seek out people whose expertise aligns with your future direction. As you continue to level up, so will your board.

This isn't your typical dry networking meeting; it's a relaxed connection call, with breakout rooms, allowing you plenty of time to get to know your fellow Dots and guests, make new friends, and potentially even establish some business connections.

What to expect:

Be ready to introduce yourself and share a little about who you are and what you do. We'll start with a fun icebreaker question to get us going, and when we'll break into smaller groups for more in-depth discussions. You'll also have the opportunity to celebrate your successes and discuss the connections and collaborations you're seeking. It's all about building relationships and having quality time with like-minded women!
