Polka Dot Powerhouse August - Business Is Better Together
Our monthly meetings include time to socialize and connect, as well as a more structured agenda to ensure that those who find mingling difficult have the space to share and connect. We never limit the number of representatives from any industry because we believe in abundance. We also do not enforce any sort of attendance or have any sort of referral tracking. Rather, we are confident that you will feel so connected to the women around you that you will want to support one another without these restrictions. We are not just about networking -- we are about truly connecting!

Business Is Better Together: Why Community Is Your Visibility Superpower
Women entrepreneurs are often told to build their businesses independently, but real growth rarely happens in isolation. In this talk, Dr. Julie Marty-Pearson shares how community fuels confidence, collaboration, and sustainable visibility.
Attendees will discover how networking, podcast guesting, and meaningful conversations can expand their reach while building authentic relationships that lead to speaking opportunities, partnerships, and referrals.
Participants will walk away with practical strategies to find or build aligned communities, own their voice, share their message, and turn meaningful connections into long-term opportunities for growth and impact.
Participants will learn how to:
- Build or find aligned communities that support both personal connection and business growth
- Use networking and podcast guesting as visibility tools to reach new audiences and expand opportunities
- Turn conversations into collaborations that lead to partnerships, referrals, and speaking opportunities
