Las Vegas Chapter August in-person evening meeting featuring Kris Cesena - Identity Theft is more than just credit card fraud

SPEAKER: Kris Cesena

SPEAKER TOPIC: Identity Theft is more than just credit card fraud

SPEAKER BIO:

Kris Cesena has a heart for helping people, especially helping them solving their problems. She works tirelessly in her business and is only happy when she's serving others, even when volunteering. Kris owned an independent auto shop for 30 years, a craft franchise for 5 years and currently owns a laser engraving business. Kris also has a passion for showing people how equal access to justice is everybody's right. Kris has served on many committees, boards and executive boards over the years. She was President of the Downtown Business Association for 2 years when she and her husband owned their successful shop in San Mateo. She's currently a board member for Help R Heroes, a non-profit that teaches veterans how to create crafty decor and turn it into a business. When she's not working she enjoys crafting, of course, camping, and spending time with her three dogs, Rocco, Buddy & Mei Mei and four-wheeling with her husband.

✨ What to Expect at a PDP Meeting

Our meetings are structured, upbeat, and welcoming — with intentional space for both connection and community.

🟣 Introductions (30–60 seconds each)

Everyone will share:

  • Your name

  • What you do for work or business (one sentence)

  • Why you’re here or how long you’ve been a member

If you don’t have a business, feel free to share your passions, hobbies, or what lights you up right now.

👉 There will be time later to share more details about what you offer.

🎉 Celebrations

We celebrate all wins — big and small — personal and professional.

This includes:

  • Welcoming guests

  • Recognizing new and renewing members

  • Pin presentations

This is one of the most joyful parts of our meetings!

🤝 Collaborations & Connects (or Connection Activity)

Members may share recent DOT Sister collaborations or connections, both locally and globally.

Some months, this is replaced with a guided connection activity designed to help members build deeper relationships.

Topics vary and are always relevant, practical, and empowering.
