Top 10 Tips For Better Phone Pictures 9/16

Topic: Top 10 Tips For Better Phone Pictures- How to take better photos using the one thing you always have with you; your phone. We will cover technical aspects, lighting and composition to make you a pro in no time. These days everyone can be a great photographer! Technology has put an amazing camera right in our hand-our cellphone! With a few tips and tricks, learn how to take better photos right on your phone.

Bio: Heather Webster is a natural light photographer living in Boise, Idaho with her husband of 24 years, two beautiful children, Gwyneth 19, and Mac 17, (who are sick of their mom taking their picture!), an adorable blue brindle Frenchie named Lil’ Reggie and two awesome tabby cats. She can't remember exactly when I took my first picture, but for over 25 years she has been know as "the one with the camera." These days none of her friends even bother taking photos at events they know she'll be attending!
While she loves a great staged shot, her favorite photos are always the ones that are more spontaneous and really capture those special moments: the love between a mother and child, a child's spontaneous laugh, the spray of water as your children run through the waves. She photographs mainly families, high school seniors, headshots, and lifestyle photos for business owners.

In addition to photography, Heather also partners with Arbonne International and loves Orangetheory!

Bio: Heather Floyd is a California native who moved to the Boise area in late 2018. She has two kids 16 and 13, a wonderful, mountain climbing husband and 2 quirky hounds at home. Her cat could care less if he is mentioned.

She enjoys many outdoor adventures like camping, backpacking, hiking, and paddle boarding. She is into cross fit and also a very involved Boy Scout leader for her kids’ troop in Meridian.

On a good day, Heather is watching Netflix to relax or standing in the middle of the forest to destress.

For a living, Heather is a family adventure photographer. She takes families on adventures (however big or small) and takes pictures of them having fun. Capturing actual smiles and laughter and enjoyment during activities is her specialty. From hiking trips, to zoo adventures or just plain ol’ backyard BBQs, family adventures can be found everywhere. Heather will photograph anything she is able to photograph realistically. Adventuring in Idaho is now a large passion of hers and she runs an active Facebook Group to help share these locations as well as give support to others. Ask Heather anything and if she doesn’t know the answer, she will find it out for you.
