As you age, balance is critical, not just physically but financially as well.  Brenda will share with you, insights, and lessons she has already learned the hard way, so you do not have to.

We will have a few laughs together and you will be surprised as well at what you learn.

BIO:

Brenda Burke was born in MN and raised in Massachusetts.  She is a New England girl at heart and could pass along great tips if you ever decide to see a New England Fall.  Her Grandma always used to say, “you can take the girl out of New England, but you can’t take New England out of the girl.”

Her family moved to Illinois in the middle of her freshman year, where she went to High School and College.   You can see her High School in Ferris Beullers Day Off.

Brenda met her husband Kelly back in 1990 and 2 years later they married and blended a family of 2 pre- teens and 2 teenagers.

Today she has 10 Grandchildren all of whom were in Colorado until her son married, moved to DE, and had two adorable girls.  When her daughter and family moved to Boise and had a baby 2 years ago, Brenda and her husband moved to Boise to be close to the newest member of the family.

Apparently, she was unintentionally on a 10-year plan with all her past careers as a licensed home day care provider, Realtor, Office manager of her husbands CPA firm.  She plans to break that pattern with New York Life helping her clients until she can retire.

She loves Boise with all her heart and the wonderful people she has had the opportunity to meet.  They live in Garden City, with their Siberian Husky who was part of their “Boise Adventure”.  They got her as an 8-week-old puppy 1 month before the move.  They ride and walk the greenbelt at least two times a day and have enjoyed all that Boise has to offer.  Of course, they enjoy time with her daughter’s family.  Brenda also loves swimming, ping pong and outdoor gardening.

Something you may not know about Brenda is she is a bit of a daredevil.  She jumped off a Bridge with her Grandson last year, she did some repelling down a mountain in CO and in one summer she climbed six 14’ers after a hip replacement that March.

Her greatest goal is to have the kind of relationship with her Grandkids that she had with her grandmother.

She believes the key to her success is a positive upbeat attitude no matter where life takes her.
