Giving Back and Getting Back 6/3

Cristina Drake is wife to a 30 year law enforcement officer and Army veteran, mother of two teenaged girls, and entrepreneur currently residing in Mountain Home, ID. She came to the US from Mexico when she was very young. Her parents pursued the American dream of owning a business and taught her to always give back to her community. 

 

At the age of 13 she began modeling and acting. In 2007 she became a host for a popular TV variety show in Phoenix, AZ on Univision 33, the leading Spanish broadcasting network, and worked there until she moved to Idaho in 2011. She has also worked on independent films, commercials, and was a program spokesperson for the March of Dimes in AZ.  She is now a realtor and certified military relocation professional for Century 21 Southern Idaho Realty in Mountain Home, ID.

 

She has actively worked with community organizations in Mountain Home, the Treasure Valley, and the state of Idaho. In this was she has been able to not only create an impact but also grow her reach. In her talk in June for Polka Dot Powerhouse she will be touching upon ways you too can grow your reach and and your impact through community and non-profit involvement. She will also cover the very important method she used to make sure she was giving time and resources to the right causes to avoid burnout and fatigue. It's not about always saying yes, but saying yes to the right thing.
