Topic: Kathy plans to cover the importance of communication in personal relationships as well as business. George Bernard Shaw says this: “The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place.” She’ll use this quote to introduce the problem and offer professional insights about how to solve it. From a business standpoint, she’ll talk about the importance of a “Call To Action” and how to use tools like Google and newsletters and websites to make sure you are actually communicating with prospects and existing clients. Kathy will also cover how to improve interpersonal communication skills. She's been married for nearly 37 years, and probably learned more about communication from her marital relationship than she did in four years of college and 3 decades in the field!

Speaker Bio: Kathy Bowling was born and raised in Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder her freshman year and then transferred to Azusa Pacific University in Southern California to complete her degree in communication. Kathy’s professional experience includes stints as a public information officer for a city, public relations director for a university, marketing columnist for two daily newspapers, and marketing manager for a hospital. She started her digital marketing company, Mountain Marketing Group in Lake Arrowhead, California, in 2008. And in search of freedom, relocated with Brent to Idaho in September 2021.
