8/11 - August Dinner Connect

8/11 - August Dinner Connect

Polka Dot Powerhouse is not your typical "networking" group. We are all about making genuine connections with women who lift you up and support you to succeed.  If you have not been a guest yet we encourage you to register and visit. Surround yourself with positive relationship building, camaraderie, and encouragement. We are not just sharing business cards and “closing a sale."

Register below for the August Dinner Connect of the Plano / North Dallas Chapter to meet fabulous current and future Dots! We bring positivity and enthusiasm to every meeting and to every chapter of our lives. Do you want to surround yourself with positive, authentic, action-orientated women? If you're ready to move forward and up, both personally and professionally, then this is the group for you.

You must register in advance to be included on our roster. Your first meeting is complimentary to find out if our style of connecting fits with your style of finding connections.

This meeting is from 6:30p to 8:30p. We run an agenda to ensure the best use of everyone's time, so please plan your schedule to allow you to arrive early to order your dinner (dinner is not required but is encouraged to help us reserve this great room) and stay for the entire time.

Speaker: Cynthia Newton

Topic:

Love Your Lymph

What is the Lymphatic System? It is one of the most powerful systems in your body; however, most people have never heard of it.

The Lymph is the clear liquid that surrounds the cells of your body.  What if I told you “You are literally SWIMMING in lymphatic fluid”

Come learn about this powerful but neglected system and how YOU can learn to Love Your Lymph.  It might just change your life!

About Cynthia:

Cynthia is a graduate of Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Disorders. She worked and practiced as a Speech Pathologist, a paralegal for a large law firm in Dallas, and a cancer researcher before finding yoga. Research has been a passion for Cynthia for well over twenty years and she continues that passion in science-based yoga and movement modalities.

God brought yoga into Cynthia’s life when she felt she “lost herself” physically, mentally, and spiritually. She was trying to perform for other people’s approval and her body had begun shutting down. She found yoga thanks to a friend, and it awoke in her the connection of what was going on in her body, mind, and spirit. While doing yoga, she began to let go of the past, accept the present, and love herself enough just as she was created. Yoga brought back to her the wholeness of who she was created to be.

In 2016 she felt the calling to give back and became a registered Holy Yoga instructor. She then quickly went on to receive her Yoga Therapy Certification, which is her heart's love. Cynthia is a Vagus and Lymph specialist and movement educator. She is certified in Yoga for Twelve Step Recovery, Trauma Certified, Yin Yoga, Somatic Movement, 3D Movement Analysis, and working toward being a Neurokinetic Therapist.

She strongly believes that we were all made on purpose for a purpose, and Yoga and Natural movement are ways to get our bodies and minds to a place where we can do the things we were created to do!
