About our Speaker:

Helen Miller-Montana is a tech startup operations expert with 20 years of experience helping tech startup founders build strong, scalable organizations from the inside out. She is the Founder & CEO of VentureOps, where she supports Silicon Valley startups by leading core operations and placing trained Startup Operations Managers (SOMs) in early- to mid-stage teams. Across her career, Helen has contributed to four successful startup exits; three M&As and one IPO bringing a steady, execution-focused approach to growth, change, and readiness at every stage. Helen previously worked at Apple for 10 years and at Dell Technologies, serving as U.S. Country HR Lead for the past 6 years, partnering closely with site and business leaders across the U.S. to strengthen culture, leadership, and performance. A committed community builder and global citizen, she has served on ERG Boards as North America Family Balance Lead supporting caregivers, parents, and life/work balance initiatives as well as other ERGs to launch and grow communities; True Ability, Veterans & Supporters, Latino Connection, Black Networking Alliance, GenNext, and Mosaic. Helen is a co-author of the international bestselling book Awakened Leaders (chapter: From Caregiver to CEO) and the author of a career guide focused on leadership growth. Helen served six years in the U.S. Army Reserves as a chaplain assistant, and she enjoys life in the Bay Area with her husband Bert, their pup Rocco, and family.
