How to Set Goals – Then Actually Achieve Them

How to Set Goals – Then Actually Achieve Them

Overview: A discussion on the psychology of goals, and why most of our goals never get achieved. We will be doing some reflection exercises and interactive discussions at a few points during the presentation, including identifying your strengths & weaknesses, your roadblocks, and practicing setting goals and vision manifesting.

What are three takeaways we can expect to learn? -

1. A clearer understanding of your individual strengths & weaknesses and how to better leverage your strengths.

2. An understanding of the psychology of goal setting and why 80% of New Year’s resolutions fail before February.

3. Useful exercises for getting over roadblocks, and setting goals for yourself with realistic action items.

I’m originally from Oregon, relocated to Washington in 2009. I have a dog (Dobby) and a cat (Weasley), and love travel, tattoos, and wine. I have been managing businesses & people since I was 19, starting with hospitality, then retail and then data analytics and client management. With my leadership experience and strong operational background, I decided to start my own business consulting agency in 2019. I now have 5 consultants helping me with clients, and am in the process of launching an online course series called “Mind Your Business”
