10/26 Zoom Connect 11:30am CST

** YOU WILL RECEIVE A ROSTER & ZOOM LINK VIA EMAIL PRIOR TO THE MEETING **

Polka Dot Powerhouse is not your typical "networking" group. We are all about making genuine connections with women who lift you up and support you to succeed.  If you have not been a guest yet we encourage you to register and visit. Surround yourself with positive relationship building, camaraderie, and encourament. We are not just sharing business cards and “closing a sale."

Register below for the October lunchtime Connect of the Plano / North Dallas Chapter to meet fabulous current and future Dots! We bring positivity and enthusiasm to every meeting and to every chapter of our lives. Do you want to surround yourself with positive, authentic, action orientated women? If you're ready to move forward and up, both personally and professionally, then this is the group for you.

You must register in advance to be included on our roster. Your first meeting is complimentary to find out if our style of connecting fits with your style of finding connections.

This meeting is from 11:30am to 1:30pm with a pre-planned agenda to ensure the best use of everyone's time, so please plan your schedule to allow you to stay for the entire time.

Typically, our meetings are twice a month in the Plano / N Dallas area. Due to covid-19 we are shifting and pivoting each month to include either our dinner or lunch time Connects. Watch our page for additional events as we are able to plan them.

Speaker: Amanda Russo

Topic: The Science behind Practicing Empathy

Many times as humans we often make quick decisions and judgements. Today, more than ever, it's more important to find ways to CONNECT instead of driving disconnection with the quick decisions we make.  How do we do that?  By practicing empathy. Amanda will teach us how our brains work and tips about how our minds can be more empathetic.

About Amanda:

Amanda Russo is a licensed professional counselor who specializes in working with women, couples, and folks with neurodiversity (ADHD, autism, and giftedness).  She has been practicing online for the past several years (yes, even prior to COVID!) in an effort to reduce barriers to therapy. Amanda is also a certified special education teacher and school counselor.  Amanda has three children, all with neurodiversity, a wonderful partner and two goofy dogs.  In her free time she likes to sing, cross stitch, and look at real estate she will probably never buy.  Visit her website at www.balancedlifelpc.com for more info on Amanda's services and her blog!
