Speaker Bio:  Merrick is the CEO at Binderful, a leadership company that offers online classes for women by women around the world, disrupting the way they think about their lives. Merrick invites everyone to step into their full leadership capacity everywhere they go. She is a strategist at heart and a lifelong community builder and organizer who believes everyone can (and should) flex their leadership muscles every single day. She’s owned her own consultancy specializing in strategic planning, facilitation, and coaching for the last eight years. Before starting her consulting business, she worked as Executive Director of a fledgling nonprofit agency where she led a team that raised $2.2 million in less than three years. Merrick has a BA from the University of Texas at Austin (HOOK 'EM!) and an MHS from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health. She’s a mom to two kids ages six and nine who have, among other things, created the perfect laboratory at home for testing her skills as a leadership coach. This past summer, she invited her kids to accept the following leadership challenge: get all the kids in the community pool playing the same game. They succeeded.
