Seats fill up quickly and you must register to attend. The meeting is from 12:00-2:00 pm and open networking starts at 11:30 am so come early to mingle.  The cost of lunch is $20 (including tax and gratuity) and you pay the restaurant upon arrival.

Do You Have a Financial Master Plan? (hint…a stock portfolio is not a master plan)

Most people don’t have a master plan. They have the accumulation of independent, seemingly smart financial decisions. But how are all of those decisions interrelating with one another?

We need to be good savers, but where is the best place to put those saved dollars? There’s day to day buying decisions, and then there’s balancing the forward thinking goals…. Do we focus on building equity in a home, aggressively build an investment portfolio, buy real estate, save for college? When we focus dollars in one area of our world, those dollars aren’t available for other areas. Are we considering all the variables, such as the tax implications of our choices or the impact to our cash flow and liquidity?

What are the risks? Is our financial success dependent on good luck and timing? Does the plan only work if nothing unexpected happens? Does anybody have a life where unexpected things don’t happen?
