Our goal at Polka Dot Powerhouse is to connect the worlds most positive, drama-free, action-forward women to do business together, collaborate, and foster friendships.  This is not your normal networking group, PDP is all about making genuine connections with women that lift you up and want you to succeed.

Speaker Kelly Bresnahan will talk about RAHAB Ministries.  Teams of trained volunteers hit the streets and visit strip clubs, delivering gift bags and home-cooked meals.  Women who feel trapped in a cycle of degradation often ask for prayer from the female volunteers who go into clubs, while the men on the teams wait, pray, and help with the logistics from outside.  Women in strip clubs have sought our help to escape from the downward spiral of being trafficked into prostitution.

Kelly has a Bachelor and Masters degree in Education and taught Kindergarten for 3 years prior to having children. During her 12 years as a stay at home mom, she volunteered at the Pregnancy Help Center. Her experiences there led her to her current position at OK., Inc. Their mission statement is: “To challenge young people to develop strong character and healthy relationships so they may chase their dreams.” She has been a classroom instructor in grades 5-12 for the past 17 years.

Seats are limited and you must register to attend.  The meeting is from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm at the Stonebridge Grille and come early to mingle and choose your lunch from a limited menu at your cost.
