December Meeting

December Meeting

I am excited to share my journey as a foster child and hopefully bring awareness to our foster care system. Many people ask me 'how do you become a foster parent?' I am thankful to be joined by Dawn Douglas, my social worker.  Dawn and I became a team to help teen girls. I also get the question, 'why did you decide to become a foster parent?"  That will be a personal story from my heart.

Dawn introduced me to Luke's Closet, which has become a great organization to help Foster Children in multiple ways.  Our Donation Drive for New and Lightly Used Clothes for Foster Children, will benefit so many.  See you on Dec 10th to share my story. Watch our FB page for updated details on collections for Lukes Closet.
