Our goal at Polka Dot Powerhouse is to connect the world's most positive, action-forward, drama-free business women.  We connect them to build relationship, collaborate and do business together. This is not your typical networking group, PDP is about making genuine connections with women that lift you up and want you to succeed.

Our meetings are the second Tuesday of the month at Granite City from 11:30am-1:30pm, open networking starts at 11 am, so come early to mingle.  The cost of lunch is $20 and you pay upon arrival.

We can't wait to Rock the Dot with you!

June Speaker  Peggy Hubbard Kingsbury

Get Up! Get Going! This topic focuses on three ways women can get themselves out of a funk and begin to move forward in life.

Bio
”I am a Georgia girl but have lived in middle TN for almost twenty years. I'm a graduate of the University of Georgia with an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice and from the University of Cincinnati with a masters in Criminal Justice. After a short career in police work I took a position with State Farm to investigate insurance fraud. I began climbing the corporate ladder and have lived in several states and held increasing corporate positions. In 2000 I accepted an Agency in middle TN and have been here since. My State Farm Agency is headquartered in Lewisburg and I work from my Franklin home office a few days a week. I have a wonderful employee team and my success had allowed me the opportunity to support local charities and spend time giving back to my community. My first husband was diagnosed with MS early in our marriage and my caregiving role developed over the years. My experiences as a caregiver taught me resilience and I like to share those lessons with others. I also learned to survive tough times and rebuild my life after my husband died. After being asked to speak for various groups, and being told I ought to do more speaking, I decided to start a speaking business, Get Up! Get Going! I speak to mixed gender groups about caregiving and focus motivational topics for women's groups.”
